Jim Carrey has joined the election debate — by drawing a cartoon of Donald Trump slamming him as a “rotten egg”.
The cartoon, which The Truman Show star drew himself, features the presidential contender as “Trumpty Dumpty” falling off a wall.
The image makes reference to Trump’s claim during his campaign that he wanted to build a wall between the US and Mexico.
A poem written alongside Carrey’s cartoon urges people to vote, and reads:
Trumpty Dumpty wanted a wall, Trumpty Dumpty could be our downfall.
Get out and vote with goodness and grace, and let’s put this rotten egg back in his place!
Carrey shared the picture on his Twitter account, with another message urging people to head to polling stations on election day.
He said: “Vote for goodness’ sake!”
