Tonight on Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour, Jack has some special birthday surprises for Ozzy — who hates surprises!
The father and son team head underground, make some chocolate, visit a prison and check out some weird medical objects.
They take in the many weird exhibits at The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, which has some very strange medical oddities.
They are equally fascinated and horrified by an anthropodermic book, one that is bound with human skin!
The museum has some truly remarkable objects including the skeleton of a giant human, slices of Albert Einstein’s brain and the death cast of some “Siamese Twins”.
Ozzy has propped up a few bars in his time but Jack then takes him behind some rather different ones at the Eastern State Penitentiary.
Al Capone served some time here and his cell can still be seen. It looks like he was afforded a fair bit of luxury during his stay! Jack asks Ozzy what he’d decorate his cell with, and he deadpans “a door to get out”.
Ozzy also tries out a shank for size. We daresay he’s been temped to stab Jack a few times during their road trip.
Also check this deleted scene where the pair discuss which historical figures they would like to have been.
