It’s Country Night tonight on Dancing With The Stars and the episode will bring out some of the biggest stars in the country music industry. CMA-nominated multiplatinum-selling artist Cole Swindell will perform Love You Too Late from his latest album, All of It.
Unlike some of the other country stars, it sounds like Swindell will perform for the audience, not while a couple takes the stage to dance.
If country music isn’t your favorite genre, it’s possible you haven’t heard of Cole Swindell. He was actually born Colden Rainey Swindell in 1983, making him 35 years old.
He started as a songwriter before becoming a performer, writing songs for Craig Campbell, Thomas Rhett, Scotty McCreery, and Luke Bryan. He has released three albums of his own for Warner Bros Records Nashville. He also has nine singles under his belt, seven of which have been at the top of the country charts.
Swindell has toured with Dierks Bentley and he was a supporting musician on Jason Aldean’s Burn It Down tour and on Florida Georgia Line’s tour in 2016, the year after the Aldean tour.
Cole Swindell won ACM’s New Artist of The Year award and his single, You Should Be Here, became a hit from the first day. It was number 1 on iTunes Country chart and Top 10 overall. The song is written by Swindell and Ashley Gorley.
Swindell’s self-titled debut album was certified Gold by the RIAA. It sold 4.1 million tracks, clocking over 234 million streams. His top songs include Let Me See Ya Girl, Hope You Get Lonely Tonight, Ain’t Worth The Whiskey, and Chillin’ It.
Cole Swindell is the first solo male artist in the history of Country Aircheck/Mediabase to top the charts with his first four singles.
Cole was also awarded the CMA’s Triple Play Award in 2015 for having three number one songs in 12 months. His list of accomplishments as an artist and a songwriter is rather long, as he seems to be working quite a bit. Since he’s so busy, it’s possible he doesn’t have room for a partner.
He’s often walking the red carpet by himself and he has never publicly talked about a girlfriend. While it is possible he’s single, it’s also possible he’s great at keeping his private life very private.
Throughout the years, he has always dumped his girlfriend before he got dumped. But it sounds like he’s romantic, as he has revealed that he watches The Bachelorette as often as possible. You can catch Cole Swindell tonight on Dancing With The Stars.
Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
