Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have allegedly ended their relationship after almost two years of romance.
The pair were first linked in January 2021 when they were pictured attending the wedding of Harry’s manager.
Wilde and her children, which she shares with her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis, were reportedly seen dancing at a Styles concert earlier this week with a source claiming that they are still close friends.
Wilde and Styles were subject to the on-set drama surrounding the release of their film Don’t Worry Darling in which she was the director while the British crooner played the lead role.
There were claims that Wilde and the film’s leading actress, Florence Pugh, were not getting along after Shia LaBeouf exited the project.
A source told PEOPLE magazine that the pair are “taking a break” from their relationship.
“The public pressure on them has been difficult,” a friend reportedly told the outlet. “They’ve had ups and downs throughout the relationship.”
“He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.,” a source told the outlet, continuing: “It’s a very amicable decision.”
Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have different priorities
A friend of the former couple told People, “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
Therefore, they may rekindle their relationship at some point in the future but don’t expect to get a statement from the former One Direction star.
He spoke about how he handles his personal life in an interview with Rolling Stone in August, “I’ve never talked about my life away from work publicly and found that it’s benefited me positively,” he said.
He continued, “There’s always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn’t going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way.”
In addition, Styles and Wilde never confirmed their relationship so it’s highly unlikely they will announce their split.
Olivia Wilde was publicly served court documents from her ex-partner
Sudeikis and Wilde split in November 2020 after dating for nine years.
The former couple made headlines when Wilde was publicly served child custody court documents while she was presenting Don’t Worry Darling at CinemaCon earlier this year.
In an interview with Variety, Wilde opened up about the viral moment and told the publication she was not surprised, hinting that it was a reason she left the relationship with the Ted Lasso star.
The moment did not stop her from continuing with her presentation at the event where they screened footage from her movie.
