Comedian Kevin Barnett has died at age 32 while vacationing in Mexico. Barnett is the co-creator of Fox’s comedy show Rel and appeared on the series. His official cause of death is still unknown or has not been released, however Variety reports that he died of “unknown causes”.
The young comedian was active on Instagram two days prior to his untimely death. In his last Instagram post, Kevin Barnett told fans that he had bought a sweater while vacationing in Mexico. The photo gives no clue about what caused the talented comedian’s death.
Tributes have poured in with many praising his incredible talent as a writer and comedian.
Us Weekly reports that Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson looked disheveled during a stand-up comedy performance, and said that he was he “feeling sad” over Barnett’s death.
Barnett was a rising comedian based in New York, who had appeared on Friends of the People and has writing credits for MTV’s Guy Code, Broad City, Fox’s Unhitched and The Eric Andre Show.
