Meghan Markle has a growing girl squad of Hollywood stars, ranging from Jennifer Aniston to Priyanka Chopra to Ellen DeGeneres.

And while the rumors and unwanted paparazzi pics sparked by Megxit (the term now used to refer to Meghan’s and Prince Harry’s exit from Britain and the royal family’s fortune) haven’t halted, that girl squad reportedly is a strong force for offering support and advice to Prince Harry’s wife.

The concept of a girl squad when you’re a Hollywood celebrity isn’t new. Stars such as Taylor Swift have turned to their squads for years for support. But Meghan’s growing girl squad of Hollywood celebs would mark the first time that anyone married to a member of the royal family has acquired such a support team composed of stars in their own right.

Jennifer Aniston becomes newest member of Meghan Markle Hollywood girl squad

Put Jennifer on the list of new kids on the royal block. Meghan has a friend in the Friends star, and the two share many mutual pals such as George Clooney.

Aniston will be filming Murder Mystery in Canada, and she plans on spending time with Prince Harry and Markle while she’s there, an insider told Radar.

“Jen has a lot of admiration for Meghan and loved her in Suits, plus she’s open to them collaborating on projects together now that Meghan’s back in the entertainment world,” said the source. “They have a lot in common and a number of mutual friends including the Clooneys, and there have already been some friendly exchanges between them.”

Ellen DeGeneres may offer her talk show as a platform to boost Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s post-Megxit fortune

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is known for not just offering already-famous folks such as Kim Kardashian a cozy chair and national TV audience for touting their latest projects. She also has helped people turn their dreams into realities.

Meghan and Harry have stated they want to pay back the money spent on transforming their luxurious British mansion. Although Meghan and her royal husband are known for wanting to help non-profit organizations, their desire to pay back the royal family as well as their need to support themselves and baby Archie means they must find a way to bank big bucks.

As for how Meghan and Ellen met, their first meeting was due to their mutual love of dogs, reported People.

They were at a dog shelter, and DeGeneres told Markle, “‘You have to take that dog.” Meghan said she was still deciding, when Ellen ordered, “Rescue the dog!”

Prince Harry’s wife recalled that she was sitting and holding the dog when DeGeneres asked if she had named the pup yet.

“And I said, ‘Well, I think I’d name him Bogart,’ and she’s like ‘You’re taking the dog home.'”

And thus Markle brought Bogart home “because Ellen told me too.”

Meghan’s and Harry’s Instagram account recently featured “global positive news” that included dogs.

We’re guessing that DeGeneres has some advice on subjects beyond dogs for Meghan after her dramatic exit from England.

Priyanka Chopra has been friends with Meghan Markle since her Suits days

Long before Markle loved and married a member of the royal family, Priyanka Chopra and Meghan were friends, reported CNN.

Tying the knot with Nick Jonas just months after Markle wed Harry, Priyanka turned to her Instagram to celebrate the royal wedding, which she attended.

Chopra described Markle as “always meant for big things…to be a change and be an important voice in doing that.”

She felt it was “amazing” that Meghan “has the platform to be able to do it.”

And thus although it’s up to Markle and Harry to agree on how to use that platform both for good and for profit, it’s clear that with her Hollywood girl squad behind her, Meghan has the support to achieve her goals.
