Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted driving to Oprah Winfrey’s house in Montecito, California, where they live just a five-minute drive from each other.

Harry was seen driving in the front seat of a black Range Rover while Meghan sat in the back next to a carseat, though neither Archie nor Lilibet were visible. Their friend, actress Janina Gavankar, sat in the front seat and was seen chatting away with Meghan while Harry kept a straight face the whole time.

Harry wore a baseball hat and sunglasses as if he was trying not to be noticed, while Meghan was fresh-faced and makeup-free with her hair down.

The visit raised eyebrows, with royal watchers speculating if the pair, who stepped down from royal duties on March 31, 2020, were planning on another tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

If they did, it would set off a firestorm in Buckingham Palace and most likely push their approval ratings in the U.K. even lower.

Twitter was on fire with opinions and speculation about a second tell-all interview

Twitter was awash with opinions and speculation on the spotting, with many claiming it would be a stupid move for Harry and Meghan to do another tell-all interview.

Some Twitter users have reflected on the previous interview, wondering if anyone would actually believe them. Royal commentator Angela Levin, asked, “If H and M are working towards another conversation with Oprah Winfrey will people believe them this time round?”

Another user, replying to Angela, wrote, “No, never believed them first time around. Most of the lies were debunked and I’m surprised they might be doing a 2nd one cause they know it will be heavily scruntized. [thinking emoji] #theirdownfall.”

Opinions on the fact that Meghan and Harry lied about most of what they said seems to be common, with another Twitter user writing, “I would hope O gets her interview fact checked before being aired next time if they do. And if O is a decent interviewer she will call them up on the lies from the last one.”

Meghan and Harry first did a tell-all interview with Oprah in March last year

The first interview with Oprah took place on March 7, 2021, less than a year after they officially stepped down from royal duties. Loads of ‘truth bombs’ were dropped, and set off an explosion in Buckingham Palace, angering many in the royal family, especially Prince William and Prince Charles.

Prince Harry accused his father of cutting him off financially and said his father and brother were ‘trapped’ in their roles, while Meghan accused a senior member of the royal family of being racist after asking what Archie’s skin color might be.
