6ix9ine made a surprising announcement on Instagram last night revealing that he has fired his entire team and canceled the remaining dates on his U.S tour. These revelations left fans wondering if he has got rid of his longtime manager Treyway Shotti.
Shotti often appears in 6ix9ine’s music videos in which the rapper often shouts out “Tr3yway” in his lyrics. The Gummo rapper took to Instagram on Thursday and said he no longer has a manager, booking agency, PR team or publicist.
This announcement comes after a report revealed that Tekashi69’s kidnapping and robbery earlier this year was allegedly orchestrated by a former member of his entourage.
Shotti has not publicly responded to Tekashi69’s announcement on his Instagram account.
The rapper — who has new music coming out on November 23 — warned promoters not to book any shows or appearances unless they hear from him personally.
Based on 6ix9ine’s statement, it appears his longtime manager Shotti may well have been fired, although this is yet to be confirmed.
He recently turned himself into police and was reportedly charged with gang assault after a dinner celebration in New York ended with one of the rapper’s crew member being shot, according to The Blast.
There was also a shooting at 6ix9ine’s recent music video filming location where Kanye West and Nicki Minaj were set to appear.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old rapper yesterday reportedly struck a plea deal over an alleged assault on an NYPD officer earlier this year, which saw a misdemeanor assault charge dropped after he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
However, he must stay out of trouble for a year or face jail time.
