Thandiwe Newton exited Magic Mike’s Last Dance after filming for 11 days, but she didn’t leave because of an argument with the movie’s star.

The spokesperson said of the fight rumors, “This report is completely inaccurate.”

The spokesperson’s statement contradicted previous reports, which stated she argued with Channing about The Oscars. More specifically, sources claimed that Will Smith’s assault on Chris Rock caused the actors to have a heated debate.
Thandiwe Newton allegedly fired from Magic Mike after an argument with Channing Tatum
Thandiwe Newton made headlines when she abruptly left the set of Magic Mike 3.
According to a source, Thandiwe and Channing got into a severe argument over Will Smith and Chris Rock at the Oscars. The unnamed source was unclear about who was Team Will and who was Team Chris. The explosive argument allegedly caused Thandiwe to leave the film.
The source explained, “Channing Tatum is the producer and number one on set. Thandiwe Newton is the number two-star. But 11 days into shooting, and it’s all over.”
The crew member detailed the topic of the argument and said, “They fell out over the debacle at The Oscars. I was on set. I watched her and watched him. They were in and out of the house where we were filming having this confrontation.”
The source said that because Channing had seniority, he got to stay while Thandiwe had to leave.
The source divulged, “It was a tense exchange of words, but suddenly it escalated – Channing got into this car, and he disappeared. After the row, he just went, ‘I am not working with her anymore’. Him being a producer, it’s his movie, so she’s off the movie.”
Thandiwe categorically denied the rumors and said she left of her own volition. Thandiwe’s role was recast and given to fellow actress Salma Hayek.
