The film tells the story of four teenagers who accidentally kill a young boy and the decisions they make in the aftermath of his death.
Its theatrical release is poignant at a time when the debate over gun control is at an all-time high.
In the scene, Till’s character Tyler runs into Rich, played by Harvey (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Neighbors), outside a party at a skating center.
Tyler arrives with friend David (Joel Courtney) but when he sees Rich, Tyler tells David to go inside.
He then confronts Rich and two others alone, but things escalate quickly when Tyler tells him to leave. Rich says: “We have the right to be here too.” But Tyler hits back, saying: “Oh no you don’t.”
Rich slams him against a wall, saying: “You don’t tell me what to do.”
But then the tension builds as Tyler pulls a revolver from his pants and thrusts it in Rich’s stomach. Watch the clip below.
Sins of our Youth is out now on limited release in selected cities, starting December 2 in New Orleans and December 15 in LA. It will be available on TVOD and DVD on December 6.
