Cardi B set the internet on fire late Tuesday night when she announced her split from Migos’ rapper Offset.
In her Instagram stories, Cardi came clean about the end of her relationship, letting fans know that she and Offset are no longer together and that they are headed for divorce.
“So everybody been bugging me and everything. And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” Cardi told her fans.
Cardi B says she and Offset ‘fell out of love’
“And we are really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners and you know,” Cardi explained. “He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. And it’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like I guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore.”

Cardi B’s announcement that she and Offset have split caught nearly everyone off guard. The pair started dating in early 2017, only to secretly get married a few months later.
Throughout their year of marriage, Cardi B and Offset were plagued by cheating rumors. Now, with Cardi letting the world know that she and Offset are done for good, her fans can’t help but wonder if it was those cheating rumors that tore them apart.
Cardi B is getting a divorce
As Cardi ended the video, she brought up plans to divorce. It sounds like she’s trying to keep things amicable but how long will that last?
“I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father and yeah.”
With four-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari to think about, Cardi was very careful about her divorce announcement and what she said about her soon-to-be ex-husband. Offset, on the other hand, commented under Cardi’s video, telling the internet, “Y’all Won”.
That didn’t seem to go over well for the Migos rapper and Twitter quickly turned his comment around, wondering why the rapper would blame them for all his alleged cheating.
#Cardi: “If you cheat on me again, I’m going to leave you.” #Offset: -cheats again-

Cardi B says their split is no one’s fault
In her divorce message, Cardi B made it clear that her split from Offset was no one’s fault. However, many have already questioned that line since cheating rumors have followed Offset since before anyone even knew they were married.
Bossip reports that the last straw for Cardi came this week by way of another rapper named Cuban Doll. She had reportedly been Facetiming and swapping inappropriate text messages with Offset.
The 20-year-old Dallas rapper was “exposed” by her former friend who put Cuban Doll and Offset on blast by posted screenshots of their alleged Facetime conversations. There are also claims that Offset was trying to get Cuban Doll to take part in a threesome with him, which was reportedly the last straw for Cardi.
Those who have followed Cardi B and Offset’s rollercoaster of a year know that her recent divorce message may not mean the end for them. After all, Cardi has gone off on Offset on Instagram before, only to reconcile and pretend like nothing happened.
Only time will tell if that will happen again or if Cardi B really meant it when she warned Offset not to cheat on her again or it would be over.
