Baby Shark has been a force within the world of children’s music for a while now — so when a 2-year old requested the popular song, Drag performer Marti Gould Cummings was happy to oblige.
It all went down during brunch at Talde in Jersey City, where Cummings was entertaining the crowd and taking song requests. So when a 2-year-old asked Marti to sing Baby Shark for the crowd, the whole room joined in, much to the child’s delight.
The clip of the unusual drag brunch performance was shared on both Twitter and Instagram, where it quickly went viral. In just two days, the drag queen version of Baby Shark has been liked more than 40,000 times on Twitter and has been retweeted more than 6,000 times.

It seems that this drag queen may just have a future in children’s performances because their version of Baby Shark was a huge hit. Don’t believe us? Play it anywhere near a small child and see if they come running.
