Alexis Ren is speaking out about her relationship with her dance partner, Alan Bersten, and someone isn’t really happy about it. We previously reported that when Alexis joined Dancing With The Stars, she was in a long-term relationship with a man named Sky Bear. However, she’s now revealing that she has developed feelings for her dance partner.
Well, it seems that her boyfriend, who goes by Sky Bear on Instagram, is feeling a bit blindsided by the whole thing. He posted a photo of him kissing Alexis’ cheek just a month ago. In fact, by all accounts, it seems that she was in a relationship when she joined Dancing With The Stars.
During tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Alexis admitted that she had developed feelings for Alan. In an interview, she told the producer that she was a bit blindsided by the whole thing.
“It’s so much fun to dance with someone who you have a connection with. It’s almost like time slows down. We communicate not just through our steps or our movements but with our hearts too. I am developing feelings for Alan, and I didn’t see this one coming. It happened really quickly though, so I think I’m still trying to process it,” she explained.
As for Alan? The feelings are mutual.
“Again, we’re taking it one day at a time here,” he revealed, adding, “I feel like the experience is once in a lifetime and we’re just making the most of it and really just going out there and having fun.”
Sky Bear didn’t seem to like hearing that Alexis was now being open and honest about her feelings. As Dancing With The Stars aired, he took to Instagram, revealing that Instagram had always been a platform for him to express himself.
He continued his statement, revealing that he found himself in a dark place and that he doesn’t understand why. He doesn’t mention Alexis Ren but hints that he had been here before and would be just fine with time.
It sounds like this relationship is over, and it sounds like Alexis Ren is going to pursue a relationship with Alan Bersten. Only time will tell how serious they get once the competition is over.
Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
