Andy Cohen ended Watch What Happens Live on a positive and happy note last night, as he revealed that he’s going to be a father in about six weeks.

Cohen, who has been rather secretive about his personal life in this regard, ended the episode saying that he was expecting the baby via a surrogate.

“After many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science — if all goes according to plan in about six weeks time I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future,” he told the camera with fellow housewives cheering him on.

Vicki Gunvalson, Ramona Singer, NeNe Leakes, Kyle Richards, and Teresa Giudice were all in the studio last night on Bravo.

So, what do we know about this pregnancy and upcoming baby? Well, not much actually. One could argue that this is his best-kept secret.

But from Andy’s announcement, we do know a few things.

Andy said he’ll be a father in about six weeks. That would put the due date just around February 1. He also said he had contemplated this decision for years.

The 50-year-old reality television host is believed to be a single father, as he hasn’t confirmed a relationship in connection with the surrogacy news.

The surrogate is currently unknown and one can imagine that the surrogate and Cohen decided to keep everything secret for the sake of her privacy and the health of the baby.

What we don’t know is whether he’s having a son or a daughter. We also don’t know what will happen with Watch What Happens Live or whether he’s taking some paternity leave from Bravo.

However, he and Anderson Cooper will be hosting this upcoming New Year’s Eve celebrations from Times Square in New York. The special will air on CNN.

Congratulations to Andy Cohen from everyone at Monsters & Critics!
