Teen Mom OG has officially been renewed for another season — with Cheyenne Floyd reportedly set to be the new girl replacing Farrah Abraham.
The renewal isn’t surprising as speculation has been swirling for weeks about the stars already filming. Abraham was fired back in October, and while it wasn’t necessary to replace her MTV decided to do it anyway. According to an exclusive scoop from The Ashley, Cheyenne Floyd will be the new girl on Teen Mom OG.
MTV fans will recognize her from her time on Are You The One? or The Challenge. Her addition to the Teen Mom OG cast is shocking news because Mackenzie McKee was previously reportedly confirmed to fill the slot left void by Farrah Abraham. Now fans everywhere are picking their jaw up off the floor.
Cheyenne Floyd gave birth to her first child in April 2017. The biggest problem with adding her to Teen Mom OG is that she was not a teen mom. Floyd was 24 when she had her baby, something that may not sit well with viewers. Aside from that major detail, there is also an issue with the name Teen Mom OG. They are no longer the original girls with Cheyenne in the mix.
Can we just stop and stare at this awesome mini-family. ?? #CoParenting at its best. @MTVCoryWharton @CHEYnotShy Happy Birthday #RyderK! ?✨ @MTV @ChallengeMTV pic.twitter.com/3KJBLo1JmW

The father of Cheyenne Floyd’s child is Cory Wharton. The two met on The Challenge, and for a while after she delivered the baby, she kept quiet about who son Ryder’s father was. The two appear to be co-parenting amicably on social media, but when the cameras roll, will it be all sunshine and roses?
