Meryl Streep has played some larger than life roles in her time — but probably none as over-the-top as Donald Trump.
But she put and end to that last night at New York City’s Delacorte Theater, where she dressed up as the billionaire and 2016 republican presidential candidate for the Public Theater Gala.
To get into character she smothered her face in a bronzing ‘fake tan’ and wore a baggy suit with oversized red tie.

And striding across the stage, she looked the spitting image as she took on the tycoon’s trademark walk — before bursting into song in a duet with actress Christine Baranski as Hillary Clinton.
The pair performed Brush Up On Your Shakespeare from the Kiss Me Kate musical, with footage of some of the performance captured on camera below.
