A video of Kid Rock laying into Oprah Winfrey during a drunken, foul-mouthed tirade last week at his Honky Tonk bar in Nashville, Tennessee, has surfaced online.
Kid Rock appeared intoxicated as he unleashed rambling fury on Oprah.
“F*** Oprah,” the 48-year-old musician said before making lewd comments about the media mogul while performing on stage at his Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse.
After the vulgar commentary, he repeatedly assured his audience that he was not racist.
“And if you say that people say ‘Hey, I’m pretty sure Kid Rock’s a racist,’ I’m like, ‘OK fine.’ f**k off,” he said.
While some in the audience cheered, others appeared to be shocked by his strong language.
He held a drink in his hand and appeared unsteady on his feet. A police officer eventually had to help him off stage.
The video below shows the moment Kid Rock attacked Oprah. He also had choice words for The View’s Joy Behar and Kathy Lee Gifford. In the footage, he calls Joy Behar a “b***h.”
This is not the first time that Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, has laid into Joy Behar.
Last year, he called her a “b***h” again during a live interview on Fox & Friends.
During the interview with Fox host Steve Doocy, he said that people needed to calm down and love everybody except “Joy Behar b***h.”
The crowd cheered but Doocy apologized on his behalf and tried to make him apologize. Kid Rock said he only apologized for the language and not the sentiments.
Joy Behar later responded on ABC’s The View.
A backlash followed Kid Rock’s comments on Fox & Friends last year, and he was banned from participating as grand marshal at Nashville’s 2018 Christmas Parade.
Kid Rock has also publicly expressed his dislike for Oprah Winfrey in the past, according to TMZ.
The latest incident occurred last week, and it wasn’t clear why Rock singled out Oprah, Behar, and Gifford for his verbal attack.
Behar is one of the hosts on The View and it’s thought Kid Rock might have felt offended by views she has expressed on the show.
