Sutton Tennyson, the ex-fiancé of Angela Simmons and father to her son, has died after being shot at his home in southwest Atlanta.
According to the police, Tennyson was shot in his garage after an apparent dispute with two unknown suspects.
Further details surrounding his death are yet to be revealed as homicide detectives investigate the shooting.
Simmons was engaged to Tennyson in 2016 and The Growing Up Hip Hop star gave birth to their son Sutton Joseph in September 2016.
In late 2017, Angela Simmons called off their engagement and explained the decision on WEtv’s Growing Up Hip-Hop.
In a conversation with her mother, Simmons explained ending her relatonship with Tennyson.
“I just got to a place where I feel like I wasn’t happy and I tried and I tried and I tried and I wanted it to work because the last thing I wanted to do was not be together with the person I had my child with,” she said.
“I thought I met my husband. I’m going to marry him, we have kids. And it just didn’t happen like that. God had another plan for me.”

Businessman Tennyson had a criminal past, which included drug charges and a domestic dispute, which Angela Simmons addressed in a conversation with her father.
A motive for the shooting is yet to be determined as details surrounding Tennyson’s death are still being investigated.
