Growing Up Hip Hop star Angela Simmons has said she plans to do a television wedding special when she ties the knot to fiance Sutton Tennyson next summer.
Angela, daughter of Rev. Run from RUN D.M.C., spilled the beans during a chat with Hollywood Life about the WE tv show, in which she also talked about giving birth naturally to son Sutton Joseph.
And she told how she is planning to wed Atlanta businessman Sutton next summer, after he proposed earlier this year.
Asked if there is any footage of her wedding planning on Growing Up Hip Hop this season, she replied: “There isn’t.” But she added: “I’m already working on planning for my wedding now. Maybe I’ll do a wedding special, I don’t know. But I’m definitely working on planning the wedding now, for this summer.”
But Angela appeared to confirm she was planning on doing the wedding special when she was pushed further.
When Hollywood Life editor-in-chief Bonnie Fuller asked if she had a date yet for the wedding, she said: “Not yet, but definitely this summer.”
Bonnie then asked: “Will it appear on next season?”
Angela said: “No, I think I’m going to do a wedding special for it.”
Angela also told how her proposal doesn’t feature on Growing Up Hip Hop because “some things have to be kept private”.
But she revealed how it took place on water, and fiance Sutton was nervous she would drop her ring in the water!
Meanwhile, she also talked about staying a virgin until after Sutton had asked her to marry him.
And she revealed how she gave birth naturally to son, with the delivery going extremely smoothly. She said: “I had a wonderful pregnancy, and a wonderful delivery.”
