Nev Schulman is a dad once again. On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, Laura Perlongo gave birth to the couple’s second child, a little boy named Beau Bobby Bruce Schulman.
Both Nev and his wife Laura shared the news on their respective Instagram accounts, revealing that their son was happy and that they were smitten with their little one.
Laura Perlongo shared an adorable photo of herself and her son at the hospital, doing skin-to-skin. Even though she’s not facing the camera, she doesn’t look tired. Instead, she appears to be soaking up the moment with her newborn.
Little Beau joins his big sister Cleo, who was born in October 2016. One can imagine she’s excited to meet her little brother.
When Nev Schulman became a dad for the first time, he was trying to balance filming Catfish: The TV Show and being at home with his family. He even took time off from filming, letting Max take the lead on the show with some of his friends and famous co-stars.
Once Nev returned to work, things changed a bit too. While FaceTime calls with Laura would often be part of the show, Nev and MTV chose to fly contestants out to Los Angeles and get an Airbnb for them, so they could facilitate the meetings near Schulman’s family.
Now that Max Joseph is no longer on the show to continue filming while Nev is on paternity leave, it’s possible that Catfish: The TV Show will take a hiatus as he bonds with his new son. There has been no word from MTV on how they plan to move forward with Nev Schulman on paternity leave.
Catfish airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on MTV.
