The Curse of Oak Island is wrapping up Season 4 with a two-hour special, which promises a big reveal.
This has been a tough season for Rick and Marty Lagina with a lot of holes bored, research done and some real frustration when leads have led to dead ends.
It has also been a costly one for the brothers with the show producer saying that Marty must have sunk $3-5 million dollars this season alone!
However, it seems that the team have finally gotten lucky and have found something that is genuinely promising.
It’s not clear that it is a load of treasure but it sounds like they have found an artefact that justifies their extensive endeavours.
This season we’ve seen hints of a Knight’s Templar link, some theories about Captain Kidd’s treasure, a cipher promising tons of gold and some strange finds in the swamp.
The Money Pit has remained the focus of the search though and its mysterious structure and depths have continued to frustrate Marty and Rick‘s attempts to reveal its mysteries.
We wonder if this new discovery will prompt the brothers to take part in a Season 5 of The Curse of Oak Island…
Have you enjoyed the season? Will they be back? Is there anything down there? Let us know what you think.
