Lauren B, full name name Lauren Burnham, is the only Lauren left vying for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s heart on The Bachelor Season 22 — after the other three were eliminated.
The 25-year-old is also turning out to be a serious front-runner, rapidly moving up the call-out order as the season progresses. But who is Lauren B from The Bachelor when she’s at home, where is she from and what does she do for a job?
Where is Lauren B from?
Lauren is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, but has moved about a lot over the years. She went to Central Washington University in Washington State, where she did Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies before returning to Virginia to attend Old Dominion University, where she stued a B.S in Psychology. She now lives in Dallas, Texas.
Where does she do for a job?
Lauren works as a tech sales executive for Vonage Business, where she has worked since early 2017. Vonage is a business phone provider. Previous to that, Lauren worked as a marketing specialist for oil and energy firm CAVU International.
According to her LinkedIn, in 2015, she co-founded a company called Affinity Homes Staging & Design, and worked from 2012 to 2016 as a home health aide helping provide at-home care for a child with special needs.
She has also worked in the past as a sales associate for Michael Kors, an emergency medical technician for Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services and a sales intern for management consulting firm Check-6.
Is Lauren B on Instagram?
Yes! As well as her professional endeavours, Lauren has a big Instagram presence with more than 53,000 followers at the time of writing — but that will likely grow rapidly if she stays in the competition.
Recently, she has been posting lots of pics of herself with the other girls on The Bachelor Season 22, but she was active long before that, regularly posting pics of what she gets up to in her free time and with family and friends.
What else does she like to get up to?
Lauren Burnham is a dog lover — and judging by her Insta looks to have her own labradoodle called Dallas, who she nicknames “Little D” for short.
In her bio for The Bachelor, she says her best attributes are being “very open-minded, loyal and fun to be around”. She also revealed she’s a Taylor Swift fan, and that she’s always wanted to be a Disney princess.
Her favorite “guilty pleasure” shows on television are Botched and Real Housewives. You also don’t want to mess with her, as she is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Is she in with a chance of winning?
Lots of people certainly think so, and it’s definitely looking more likely as the season progresses, with her starting to get a lot more screen time than she did at the start.
Some have also pointed out that previous to her appearance on The Bachelor she was posting all the usual stuff on her Instagram, but since the show went to air it’s become mostly set pictures or screengrabs, which could be a sign she doesn’t want to reveal something.
However, there could be lots of other reasons for that too — and it’s certainly not unusual behavior for The Bachelor contestants. Only time will tell!
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
