Love After Lockup was confirmed for a second season earlier this year, and up until recently details were scarce. Now, fans of the show have something to look forward to in the coming months — as the Season 2 release date has finally been announced.
Starting this week, Love After Lockup will also begin airing specials that chronicle the lives of the previous six couples. Everything will be done in five specials, airing each Friday night until the near end of November. This is exciting news, because shortly after that Love After Lockup Season 2 will premiere.
Love After Lockup Season 2 release date
The Love After Lockup Season 2 release date has been set for December 7, according to WEtv, airing at 9pm ET/PT. Fans can also look forward to meeting the new couples beforehand, as they will debut during the Season 1 catch up stories.

As well as announcing the air date, WEtv also released a promo trailer for the second season of Love After Lockup giving a glimpse of who will take part and what’s to come. Six couples will be taking part.

The Love After Lockup specials will allow fans to rewatch the stories from Season 1 and find out where the couples are after the show stopped airing.
The first special begins this Friday night with a rehashing of what went down between Johnna and Garrett.
