The Young and the Restless fans will be stunned to hear that Mishael Morgan and the CBS soap are parting ways. But in traditional soap tradition, the reason why is something of an unsolved mystery!
TVSource Magazine broke the news saying the actress and the show failed to agree on terms of her contract.
Soap Opera Digest also reports that Mishael, who plays Hilary on the soap, has chosen to leave the sudser. We’re sure the details will be revealed in the days to come but the result is the same: Y&R fans lose a dynamic character they love to hate so good!

There were no whispers or rumor trails before the bombshell news broke, so Mishael’s departure is surprising. The role may be recast of course, but in the meantime we’re sad to hear that Mishael is taking her leave. She brought soapy shenanigans to a new level of fun playing the host of gossipy G.C. Buzz.
And what happens to Hevon? Hilary and Devon (Bryton James) are front burner right now with their upcoming baby and flirty romance.
