For the 100th episode of the show, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will perform on NCIS: New Orleans. This all takes place on the upcoming episode, which also marks the return of Stacy Keach to the show. Keach plays Cassius Pride, the father of lead character Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula).

This is a big episode, with CBS issuing teasers that Pride is going to come up against a family member he didn’t even know existed. As the NCIS team is trying to solve a case, while also being confronted with a cold case, the Pride family takes center stage.

NCIS: New Orleans Episode No. 100

In the video below, the cast speaks about how important it is to them to infuse the music with the show. They all feel that music is an important component of New Orleans, so having it as a focal point on NCIS: New Orleans is also crucial.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will serve as a great way to break away from the drama of the October 23 episode. As Pride continues to try to move on from getting shot by an assassin, and the team tries to figure out a new rhythm, the show will celebrate its 100th episode. Below the description for the episode entitled In the Blood.

“Pride’s father, Cassius Pride (Stacy Keach), is wrapped up in an NCIS case involving a notorious unsolved casino heist from several years ago.”

Fans should make sure to tune in, as it looks to be a good episode, with the addition of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats to give it some good old New Orleans charm.

NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesday nights at 10/9c on CBS.
