NCIS: New Orleans spoilers indicate that the team isn’t done dealing with Eddie Barrett. In the short-term, CBS has revealed that actor Eddie Cahill will return in November for an all-new episode of the show.
The character of Eddie Barrett is who the NCIS team was convinced had murdered Christopher Lasalle (played by Lucas Black). Now, it seems they will have to get back to work at putting him behind bars. Again.
The episode in question is called Convicted and it will air for the first time on Tuesday, November 26. It is also one of the few new episodes of the show that will get to call Tuesday night home before the big move to Sunday nights.
When we last saw Eddie Cahill on the show, the character was in a diner with one of his followers sitting with him. Viewers didn’t know that she was a follower yet, though, as she had earlier claimed to be dating a man found murdered while the NCIS team was investigating the death of Cade Lasalle.
The team arrested Barrett, presumably putting an end to the case investigating the murder of NCIS Special Agent Christopher Lasalle. But it’s not over.

NCIS: New Orleans spoilers — Season 6, Episode 9
According to a release by CBS, during the episode called Convicted (airing November 26), Barrett provides an alibi for the time that Lasalle was murdered. This leads to the team becoming even more determined to “avenge Lasalle’s murder.”
Following that episode of the show, CBS will have two straight weeks of rebroadcast episodes before arriving on the winter finale for Tuesday, December 17. Then, the show begins its winter hiatus before returning with new episodes on Sunday nights in 2020.
