The Curse of Oak Island Season 4 finale saw the Lagina brothers a little closer to solving the mysteries of Oak Island and also broke series viewing records.
History Channel’s Season 4 finale of The Curse of Oak Island wound up with record series viewing figures of 3.8 million, as fans tuned in to see if the Money Pit was about to give up its century-old secrets.
The good news for the show doesn’t stop there as the entire fourth season was the show’s best performance yet. It was the number one original show for Tuesdays across all cable, quite a remarkable feat for a show based on two men pursuing a childhood dream.
History’s President Jana Bennett was full of praise for the brothers who host the show, saying: “The passionate and authentic story-telling of Rick and Marty Lagina as they strive to solve one of the world’s most intriguing, unsolved mysteries is what resonates most with our viewers and keeps them coming back for more week after week.”
Marty and Rick also appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week, where they discussed why they are so obsessed with the legend.
