Elizabeth II is the longest-reigning British monarch, it comes as no surprise that Season 3 of The Crown will introduce a new age-appropriate cast. Due to the timeline of Queen Elizabeth’s reign, Claire Foy will not return as Queen Elizabeth II. The same goes for Matt Smith as Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret.
