Good news for fans of The Curse of Oak Island — tickets to tour the island in 2018 are set to go on sale March 1, but you’ll have to get in quick as last year they all sold out in a matter of hours.
Both public and private tours will be available, with tickets for both going on sale at 7pm AST (6pm EST) the same day.
The Friends of Oak Island Society has already revealed the public tours, which regularly have The Curse of Oak Island star Charles Barkhouse as the guide, will take place on the following dates:
June 23 and 24
July 7 and 8
July 21 and 22
August 11 and 12
August 18 and 19
September 15 and 16
Tours are available at 10am and 2.30pm each day. Numbers are limited to 125 people (those aged six and over) per tour, and cost $25.30 including processing and taxes — while children under the age of five go free.
The tickets will be available for booking on The Friends of Oak Island Society website.
Dates and prices for the private tours, which are run by Oak Island Tours Inc., are yet to be announced but will go on sale on the same day at the same time. Further details and dates are set to be published soon on the Oak Island Tours Inc. website.
Although it’s not guaranteed, visitors often get to meet members of the cast by chance.
Thanks to the popularity of the show, tickets are expected to go on sale in record time this year. The Friends of Oak Island Society revealed that while tickets for the tours used to take months to sell out, in 2017 all the public tours sold out in four hours while public tours sold out in less than an hour.
The Curse of Oak Island airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on History.
