Yolanda Hadid reveals her Instagram secrets on this week’s episode of her new series Making a Model on Lifetime.
The star has 2.7million followers on her own account and also has social media experience through being mom to models Gigi and Bella.
On Making a Model, she is joined by Victoria’s Secret Model Devon Windsor and social media expert Olivia Perez as they dish out advice to the show’s up-and-coming models.
The six teenage girls on the series are all vying for a management contract with Yolanda’s company and the potential to be represnted by IMG Models, as well as a weekly prize of $5,000.
This week the episode is titled Instaglam and focuses and what to do and what NOT to do when it comes to social media.
Watch the preview below as Yolanda can be heard saying one Instagram account has “too many selfies and too many [Snapchat] dog faces”. She adds: “Whatever you put out will exist in the universe forever.”
This week’s weekly challenge sees the girls then having to put that social media advice into practice as they compete for the chance to be the new “fresh face” for H&M’s social media.
The up-and-coming models taking part in Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid — and who feature on the show with their “momagers” — are Breanna Bunevacz, 13, Lilyan Cole, 15, Carrington Durham, 16, Mikayla Gilles, 16, Makenzie Rooney, 14, and Athena Katoanga, 13.
Last week saw Mikayla win the first challenge.
