On The Young and the Restless Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) is in a life or death situation this week when he runs down his grandmother and leaves her to die.
Who plays the complicated Reed on Y&R? A self-described musician and actor, Tristan Lake Leabu has been acting since the tender age of 5. He’s been a jazz, folk and blues guitarist since age 12.
In 2006 he played the role of Lois Lane’s son, Jason White, in Superman Returns and the following year he was seen in Lifetime’s, While the Children Sleep. He took over the role of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) son in 2017 and stayed to kick up trouble in Genoa City until the following April.
Last week he shocked his mom by popping back up in Genoa City looking to find his dad’s killer. Oops, it was the very same grandma he may have killed in a hit and run!
Does Reed know that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) whacked J.T. and then dumped him in a park ,with his mom along for the ride? Some fans are speculating that indeed he knows the awful truth, and came back for payback. Well, if revenge is what he’s looking for, he’s certainly served it up cold!
Today troubled teens Reed and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) get felonious. At a party underage Charlie gets wasted and helpful Reed decides to drive him home. The only problem is that Reed has no business driving either since he has a suspended license after his last brush with the law involving a smashed up car.
Boys will be boys, and Reed gets behind the wheel with a drunk Charlie riding shotgun. It’s frosty outside and hard to see through the windows. Next thing you know, they plow into poor Nikki leaving her unconscious, but keep driving. This can’t end well!
