The penultimate episode of 12 Monkeys Season 2 airs tonight — and here’s a sneak peak preview of what’s to come.
Cole is in 1957 and having drinks with a colleague at the bar, with Cole saying he’s just there to clear his head.
But the talk quickly turns to women and Cole’s buddy offers him some very sensible advice, after telling him that his own partner may not last the year.
He says: “When I say what I say, you know I know. Because when it comes down to it, the only thing you’ll be wishing for is more time.”
Tonight’s episode sees Cole along with Railly trying to stop the final paradox, as Deacon, Ramse and Jennifer do their best to weather the apocalypse as they try desperately to find the Witness.

12 Monkeys has just been renewed for a third season which will air over 10 episodes (rather than the 13 of the first and second seasons) in 2017.
Executive producer Terry Matalas promised Season 3 will be “even more twisty and emotional” than Season 1 and Season 2.
