The first to try and get a deal on the upcoming episode of Shark Tank are brothers from Provo, Utah. They are appearing on the ABC hit to pitch their fun and adventurous treasure hunt game experience that can be played in all kinds of cities across the country.

The marketing ploy involved burying treasure chests across the country with the grand prize being a trip to Hawaii.
Rather than focusing on the sunglasses, people really seemed to dig the idea of a treasure hunt game. While sales did triple during the event, the brothers realized that the treasure hunt game was the thing they needed to focus on.
Rather than ditch KZ Sunglasses completely, they launched Adventure Hunt as a separate business with KZ being the lead sponsor. It didn’t take long for sponsors to catch on. In 2016, they buried 48 treasure chests across the country, and in 2017, the number grew to 70.
The amazing part is that each chest is packed with over $7,500 worth of gear and merchandise, so it’s worth finding one.
The idea is that two people work together to find the chest. You simply download the app to get assignments that will earn them enough points to get the treasure map that can get them the route to the chest, which is through a riddle.
On the company’s website, you also have the option of designing your own adventure.
There are several ways the company earns money, something the sharks may be more than curious about as they want a highly profitable business. You can buy an adventure or learn more about how to participate in one on the company’s website.
Shark Tank airs Sunday at 9/8c on ABC.
