Last night on My Big Fat Fabulous Life there was a bit of a scandal that rocked the Thore family. Viewers were stunned at the direction things took, especially given the openness between Whitney and her parents.
During a visit to her parents’ attic, Whitney Thore discovered a photo album that was filled with wedding photos. Naturally, she assumed it belonged to Babs and Glenn, but she was sorely mistaken. So what was in that wedding album that shook Whitney and her brother Hunter?
Babs’ secret on My Big Fat Fabulous Life
When it was discovered that the wedding album was not filled with Babs and Glenn Thore, Whitney was incredibly confused. As she looked through the album, she recognized her mom’s side of the family, but her father’s side was nowhere to be found.
In shock, Whitney brought Hunter in on the discovery. The siblings had no idea that Babs had been married prior to Glenn, and they wondered if there were more siblings out there.
Whitney’s questions are answered
While confronting Babs about the wedding album, Whitney Thore learned more than she probably cared to about her mother’s younger years. It was confirmed that she was married prior to Glenn, but there were no siblings running around anywhere else.
The marriage lasted four years before they were divorced. Babs revealed she had started dating her previous husband when she was 17 and he was 22, which definitely shocked Whitney and Hunter. There were a few more personal questions asked which made things a bit awkward for both viewers and Babs’ kids.
Not only did Whitney Thore find out that Babs was married and divorced before her father, she also found out that Glenn had been engaged once before as well. The engagement was brief, lasting only hours, but it was still mentioned and something she was not privy to before.
