Arie Luyendyk Jr. decided to reignite his feud with Jef Holm on Twitter this week, as he decided to go back a whole year and reply to Jef’s tweet from January 2018. In that tweet, Jef revealed he would donate $5,000 to a charity if Arie could last a year with anyone.
On Twitter, Arie claimed that it was time for Holm to pay up, saying he needed to stay true to his word and give $5,000 to charity as he has been with Lauren Burnham for over a year.
Pay up @jefholm… Put that trust fund money into something positive instead of bottle service. Asshole https://t.co/APS3H80BV3

Arie fought back a bit, as he seems rather angry with Holm’s predictions and betting against his former friend. Arie tweeted that Jef should put his “trust fund money” into something other than “bottle service”, suggesting that Jef is wasting his money on booze.
Even Reality Steve joined the conversation yesterday, revealing that Arie Luyendyk Jr. was being kind by saying Jef was spending his money on bottle service.
I think Arie is actually being kind by just limiting it to bottle service. Could’ve cut much deeper https://t.co/BBfzpku1Do

Last year, Holm revealed he had been right as Arie changed his mind, dumping Becca Kufrin after the final rose. Instead, Arie wanted to explore a relationship with Lauren, as he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Perhaps Holm thought that because Arie dumped Becca, he had won his bet.

But what started the whole feud between Arie and Jef?
It’s actually unclear what happened between the two of them. When they were both on The Bachelorette in 2012, Arie and Jef were down to the final two. Emily chose Jef, but Arie didn’t respect her choice.
After filming wrapped, he flew to Charlotte, North Carolina to talk to her. He also left her his diary, which was a collection of letters so she could read how he was feeling.
The feud between Jef and Arie didn’t become public until about 18 months ago when Arie Luyendyk Jr. was announced as the new Bachelor.
That’s when Jef claimed that he had plenty of stories about Arie at frat and sorority houses — describing Arie’s alleged actions and behavior as “gross”. At the time, Jef claimed that he had actually ended their friendship years prior.
I've actually never even been inside a sorority house. As for him…I stopped being friends with him years ago because he's disgusting

Holm is not often on Twitter, so the majority of his tweets appear to be about Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his dislike for the reality star. Arie is about to get married this month and he’s expecting his first child with Lauren. As for Jef, it’s unknown whether he’s dating or in a serious relationship.
The new season of The Bachelor starts on Monday, January 7, at 8/7c on ABC.
