On the upcoming episode of Berlin Station on Epix, the race to get Daniel Miller back alive ahead of the Article Five vote is in overdrive as we see deputy chief Robert Kirsch (Leland Orser) grilling Sergei
In the clip, Robert kindly brings some hot coffee as he interrogates Russian Sergei
Sergei is cool as a cucumber as he flexes his guns and pointedly tells Robert that life in Russia is very different and might come as a shock to his “Yankee” ears.
In the scene, Kirsch arrives
“A real chatterbox,
“Blow me Frank,” says Kirsch as he enters the room with Sergei.
Sitting down, Kirsch says, “Hey, brought you a coffee. Go on, its fresh and it’s hot. Just trying to be a good host.”
“My boss doesn’t think that I am nice enough,” Kirsch continues. “I told her I’d offer you immunity, a nice cozy retirement in the UK, all you have to do is tell me who sent you to Estonia, who ordered you to assassinate Sofia Vesik?”
Sergei leans back. “Now, this may be difficult for a Yankee to grasp, but in Russia… there are no ribbons for failure.
“And whether I talk or not, it changes nothing. My fate is sealed. I am a dead man already… and so is Daniel Miller.”
Last week, we saw agent Torres going deeper into Vassily Krik’s creepy dacha world. He paid “warlord” and Russian oligarch
Viewers have already surmised based on the action thus far that Krik is somehow involved with Daniel Miller’s capture.
Esther (Mina Tander) is also working her sources to find her lover Daniel (Richard Armitage).
Torres is skating on thin ice with Krik who is about as crafty and insidious as they come in the pantheon of Berlin Station villains.
The Eye Fears When It Is Done to See which is directed by Tanya Hamilton also sees B.B. (Ashley Judd) and Valerie (Michelle Forbes) working together to garner support for an intervention.
Meanwhile, April’s (Keke Palmer) Berlin Station assets face “a possible deportation.”
Meanwhile, “a dangerous figure” invites Hector (Rhys Ifans) and Torres (Ismael Cruz Córdova) into treacherous terrain.
The quote of the week goes to Valerie Edwards:
“If NATO can fend off a Panda? We’re going to get mauled by a very, very big bear.”
