My Big Fat Fabulous Life is currently airing the BGDC (Big Girl Dance Class) tour. Whitney Thore and Todd Beasley tested out the waters to see if people away from Greensboro, North Carolina, would be interested in what they are offering.
They got an RV to travel in and began their journey. Whitney Thore wasn’t a super planner when it came to itinerary, leaving Todd Beasley frazzled on more than one occasion. Because of everything going on with Buddy Bell, he took the trip along with them, seemingly adding to their stress.
Where did the BGDC go on tour?
The first stop on the Big Girl Dance Class tour was Pittsburgh. Whitney Thore rented out the venue, and when tickets went on sale she didn’t seem to have a clue what she was doing. A total of 500 people bought tickets to attend the class, but with some careful planning everyone who showed up was able to attend.
Chicago and Columbus were the two other cities that the BGDC tour stopped in. It was successful for it’s first run, making another venture possible if Whitney and Todd decide to do more. My Big Fat Fabulous Life has given them a platform for their business and it has definitely made an impact around the country.
When did the Big Girl Dance Class tour happen?
Whitney Thore and Todd Beasley went on tour last summer at the end of June through the beginning of July. They were only gone a few weeks and returned home to Greensboro, North Carolina, following the completion of the three-city tour.
It is unclear whether they are planning to take another stab at the Big Girl Dance Class tour this summer or if the focus will be on something else.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesday nights at 8/7c on TLC.
