Days of our Lives spoilers for next week’s NBC super soap reveal that sad, sad news is about to hit Salem.
J.J. (Casey Moss) rushes pregnant Lani (Sal Stowers) to the hospital and the outcome is not good: Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) determines that the baby must be delivered prematurely. Spoilers reveal that Lani’s baby will not survive, leading to intense grief and anger for Lani, Eli (Lamon Archey), and their families.
Elsewhere, Will (Chandler Massey) has a breakthrough. This week Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall) shot him full of Dr. Rolf’s special serum, and it looks like he begins to get his memoires back. The real news is, what will this do to his current relationship with Paul (Sean Christopher)?
Since Christopher announced this week that he is leaving DOOL, does this pave the way for a WilSon reunion?
Kate (Lauren Koslow) is a busy lady next week. First she drops an epic bombshell on a gobsmacked Chad (Billy Flynn). Then, the lovely vixen has a special request of special counsel Ted (Gilles Marini). Is she calling off her pit bull lawyer, or merely telling him to bite harder?
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) finally makes contact with Ciara (Victoria Konefal) but is more worried than ever.
This week DOOL fans were shocked to hear of the departure of veteran actor Bryan Datillo. His character Lucas is in a hot romance with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Little information is being divulged about the circumstances of his departure, and there’s no word yet on whether the character will be recast.
Nonetheless, next week Eric (Greg Vaughan), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Chloe, and Lucas share a meal together. Uh oh, we know what happened at the last celebration—someone lock up the poison!
Sadly, in addition to Datillo and Christopher leaving DOOL, it seems as if we’ve seen the last of handsome Xander (Paul Telfer) for now.
But just like a bad penny, the bad boy has a bad habit of popping up at the most inopportune time. We all know that he can’t wait to use the blackmail evidence he stole from Victor (John Aniston). Will we see some thunder from down under during August sweeps?
