My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Way Thore has received a vile letter trolling her about her weight — in which the sender calls her “disgusting” and a “pig”.
The reality star and No Body Shame campaigner, who suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome, says she received the letter from a doctor, who she researched and found to be real.
She posted a picture of the letter on her Twitter page, saying: “Got this. He’s a real doctor. I checked.”
The letter reads: “I am not a fan of you or your TV program but at the suggestions of a few of my patients, I have seen 2 or 3 of your programs, which I find to be distasteful and very dishonest.
“It is my understanding that you blame your enormous weight gain on Poly Cystic Ovaries but that is a bunch of Bull; if you really believe that, you are in complete denial.
“The cause of your weight gain is plain old gluttony and you know it. It is very sad to see you blaming a physical condition (polycystic ovaries) for being a big fat pig rather than blaming it on your lack of self-control.
“There is nothing about your life that is “Fabulous”; when you are a big fat sow as you are, it is a disgusting existence. You need to get out of denial and do something about your extreme obesity.”
It’s not known whether the letter was actually sent by the doctor in question or by someone posing as them.
But fans rallied to back Whitney after she posted the letter on Twitter. One said: “Well he’s also a real piece of s***. That is all. Keep doing your thing girl! You are a voice for SO MANY!”
Another added: “Don’t blur his name. Let it be seen. Why protect him just because it says personal and confidential means nothing. He’s an a**e.”
One said: “I’d report him to the board of ethics.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on TLC.
It is disgusting how Whitney wears bikinis and tight clothes allowing globs of fat stick out all over.
