If you loved Floribama Shore the first time around, get ready for Season 2! MTV just released the new trailer for their breakout hit and based on what we’re seeing, the second season should be just as fun as the first.
All eight of the original cast members will be returning to the house in Panama City Beach for Season 2 of Floribama Shore. We can tell by the Sweet Home Floribama theme song that plays through the trailer that all of the cast members have glowed up during their break and while filming the second season.
Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gibson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice, and Gus Smyrnios make up the cast of Floribama Shore. Though there were a few clashes during their first season, the crew came together perfectly and the cast chemistry is so good that MTV is doing it all over again with the same exact mix of people.
Understandably, the Floribama Shore cast is drawing many comparisons to the Jersey Shore cast. While the show formats are almost identical, it’s easy to see why both shows work so well. It has everything to do with the cast interaction as well as the viewers’ ability to connect with the cast and to relate to them.
Last season, both Amy and Nilsa were coming out of bad breakups and things that happened on the series reflected that. This year, both women have had a chance to reflect and grow. This time around we can expect big things from two of Floribama Shore’s standout stars.
Gus Smyrnios has said that he put everything he had into the filming of Season 2. He tweeted, “Gave my all to filming this season, one of the best yet most stressful things I’ve ever gone through but I’ll love my floribama family till my last breath. Can’t wait for everyone to see!”

Apparently, shooting covers for romance novels isn’t that stressful. After all, that’s what Gus was up to during his break from filming between the seasons.
The brand new Floribama Shore trailer doesn’t show what’s going to happen during the new season. Instead, we get treated to quick images of the cast playing in frolicking on the beach. There are also some pretty incredible shots of Panama City Beach that really might make a lot of the viewers want to head there to enjoy the party atmosphere.

“Good food, good meat, good God, let’s eat!” the Floribama Shore cast exclaims in the trailer.
One thing that hasn’t changed is that the Jesus candle is still making appearances. Surrounded by the bounty of a crawfish boil, the candle is clearly featured in the new trailer.
As for the premiere date, MTV fans will have to hold on a little bit longer. While initially slated for a June start date, Floribama Shore has seemingly been pushed back a few weeks and given a Monday night time slot.
Season 2 of Floribama Shore premieres on July 9 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
