General Hospital spoilers for next week’s episodes of ABC’s sudser promise tons of soapy drama descend upon Port Charles proper: is there a murder mystery in the offing?
First off, Jason (Steve Burton) takes extreme measures to help Carly (Laura Wright). The Ferncliff captive has made an enemy of Nurse Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) who’s intent on drugging her out of what’s left of her mind.
But how long can Jason keep up his janitor charade? Hopefully, Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will see the light and do something to help, stat.
Speaking of Kevin, the shrink continues to hold office sessions with a conflicted, vulnerable Alexis. This week she shared the sad news of her murdered mom, which clearly moved the good doc. Does anyone else get the vibe that Alexis and Kevin are heading down the road to romanceville?
Meanwhile, Michael (Chad Duell) keeps up his secret surveillance of Nelle (Chloe Lanier) while the spooked vixen tries to steer clear of ex Harrison (Josh Swickard) who has the goods on her.
Elsewhere Oscar (Garren Stitt) doesn’t give up on his quest to see his mom and dad reunite. This week he told Drew (Billy Miller) that he has no use for Julian (William deVry), his mom’s on again/off again fling. It remains to be seen who Kim (Tamara Braun) chooses, but with Drew a free man, will he make a move on his baby momma?
This week we saw two hotheads put their paws around Dr. Bensch’s neck and throttle the sex pest. In addition, his victim Kiki (Eden McCoy) and her mom Ava (Maura West) have uncontained hatred for him that’s fizzing forth like a Hawaiian lava flow. This many people raging at one despicable character usually means that a juicy whodunit is in the works. Could it be?
On a sad note, Dominic Zamprogna confirmed that he’s departing the soap. Do you think that they will recast the role or send the detective out in a blaze of glory?
