Harry Potter fans are in for a stellar Hogwart-astic few days this weekend — as we get to relive the journey of Harry Potter turning from small boy to young man before our very eyes!
The Wizarding Weekend marathon airs on Syfy and USA starting this Friday night. The special event will see the NBCUniversal networks air all the franchise’s films and offer a multi-platform exploration of everything Harry Potter.
Harry Potter Wizarding Weekend
Both networks will air the entire Harry Potter library starting July 13th.
The event kicks off on Friday night with The Sorcerer’s Stone at 8/7c and runs through the weekend playing the entire Potter library in extended director’s cut versions and HD, ending with the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2 starting at 5.15/4.15c.
All eight Harry Potter films and the Fantastic Beasts movie will be featured with limited commercial interruption as the networks celebrate the milestone of 20 years of Harry Potter fandom.
Spellbinding bonus stuff
In the future, SYFY and USA will feature several more special events including a Back to Hogwarts Marathon, Dark Arts Marathon and Wizarding World Week and a special Christmas Marathon.
The new rights deal will also see the Fantastic Beasts movies also being shown on the networks, with the first one airing in 2019.

The simulcast of the Harry Potter Wizarding Weekend begins Friday night (July 13) at 8/7c on SYFY and USA Networks.
