Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson runs away from her mom on this week’s Mama June: From Not to Hot after revealing she feels “unwanted”.
Fans knew this was coming after the pre-season description told how Alana gets sidelined as Mama June focuses on taking part in a pageant.
She then runs into the arms of her dad Mike “Sugar Bear ” Thompson and his new wife Jennifer Lamb for attention.
Honey Boo Boo decides to make the move after Mama June hires a new coach to replace Alana and help her prepare for the pageant.
Alana still tries to help as they go shopping for something to wear in the competition, but is repeatedly ignored.
She says: “If I’m not wanted here, and I know where I am wanted, then that is exactly where I’m about to go.”
She then makes a phone call and arranges for someone to pick her up.
When it becomes apparent that Alana has fled the store, Mama June phones boyfriend Geno Doak to tell him that she has gone missing.
She says: “I need you to come meet me, because Alana’s gone.”
The episode also sees Mama June’s eldest daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon attempt to move her fiance Josh Efird into her home without asking.
When Mama June questions it, Pumpkin tells her: “First off, we’re having a kid together and I think the right thing for him to do is move in here. Me and Alana sure as hell didn’t have a daddy growing up…don’t you think someone around here should?
