On Ice Road Truckers this week, rival firms team up to form a convoy over an extremely treacherous crossing — but they aren’t prepared for what’s coming next.
It’s not long before the ice melts and the road they need to use has been closed by the authorities. But now they’ve agreed to open it just for this one crossing.
Enter Polar boss Mark Kohaykewych who pulls together a top team of the best drivers around to form a four-truck convoy as they put their lives at risk for the task ahead.
He says: “They can’t be any drivers, they’ve got to be top dogs.”
Todd Dewey asks him: “Do we even know what this road’s like or are we just going in blind?”
Mark responds: “It’s enter at your own risk.”
If only they knew what they’d signed up for…
Also on this week’s Ice Road Truckers, Alex Debogorski will be hoping God is looking over him as he attempts to complete one of the longest trails around against the clock.
And Art Burke’s rig hits some serious problems on the ice.
Ice Road Truckers airs Thursdays at 10/9c on History.
