Joe Giudice won’t be featured on this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey since he’s still serving his prison sentence for bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. While he won’t be seen, Teresa will be talking about Joe on Season 9 of RHONJ, which may have some viewers asking about what’s going on for the incarcerated reality star.
While it reportedly won’t be talked about on Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe is still facing deportation once he’s done serving time. In October, Judge John Ellington ruled that based on the letter of the law, he has no choice but to deport Joe.
The only thing Giudice could do to try and stop from being sent back to Italy is to appeal the decision by November 9. With that date looming, RHONJ fans are waiting to hear whether Joe will get another chance in the U.S. or if he’ll get sent packing.
There are also questions about what Teresa will do if her husband is kicked out of the U.S. Previously, she’s said if he goes back to Italy, she’ll go with him but is that true?
Newer reports make it sound like Teresa Giudice might say goodbye to Joe if he ends up getting deported. Recently, Teresa spoke with People about Joe’s deportation ruling and what’s going on with the family right now.
She admitted that the family is “devastated” but also said that Joe is staying positive and that they are just waiting for his appeal. When asked how she would deal with it if Joe was actually deported, the RHONJ star said, “take it one day at a time.”
Joe Giudice’s prison release is scheduled for March 14, 2019, which is coming up fast. Will he be allowed to come back to New Jersey or will he get kicked out of the country? RHONJ fans can’t wait to find out!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
