During tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, former Mirrorball champion Jordan Fisher will come back and open the night with a spectacular number alongside Ariana Greenblatt and Jason Maybaum – and the other Dancing With The Stars Juniors contestants.
Jordan, who is currently hosting the junior version of the show, returns later on during tonight’s competitions to perform A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes from Cinderella with Ariana and Jason accompanying him.
But who are these performers, who are gracing the small screen every Sunday night for Dancing With The Stars: Juniors?
Jordan Fisher
On the 25th season of Dancing With The Stars, Jordan Fisher took home the Mirrorball trophy with his partner, Lindsay Arnold. Now, he’s using his talents to host the junior version of the show, guiding the young celebrities through weeks of hardcore training and performances.
Fisher himself has quite the resume, listing himself as an actor, singer/songwriter, dancer, choreographer and musician with experience on the small screen as well as Broadway.
His first single was All About Us and was released in 2015. He worked with the same producer who is behind Alessia Cara, Ariana Grande, and Rihanna.
In the summer of 2016, Fisher released his self-titled EP, which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard Heatseeker album chart. His work also includes a role in Grease: Live and a partnership with Lin-Manuel Miranda for the duet You’re Welcome from Disney’s Moana soundtrack. He also got a role in Miranda’s award-winning play, Hamilton.
Other than Moana, he has also starred in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Teen Beach Movie, The Thundermans, Teen Beach 2, Teen Wolf, Bones, and Liv and Maddie. He has completed the movie Stay, where he plays the role of Miles. He’s currently working on She-Ra and the Princess of Power, which is a television series where he plays Seahawk.
Ariana Greenblatt
Ariana Greenblatt is a small-but-mighty star on the rise. At just 11 years old, she has quite an impressive resume.
She’s been dancing since the age of 2 and she has experience in front of the camera. The native New Yorker started acting in 2015 with her first role in Liv and Maddie, where she played Raina. She has also worked on Legendary Dudas and starred as herself in the Disney Channel Stars: DuckTales Theme Song.
More notably, she played Lori on A Bad Moms Christmas, a young Gamora on Avengers: Infinity War, and Daphne Diaz on Stuck In The Middle. She has just wrapped The One and Only Ivan, where she plays Julia.
Jason Maybaum
Jason Maybaum is 10 years old and started his acting career at 7. He stars as Levi in the Disney Channel’s live-action comedy, Raven’s Home, which is a spin-off show of the popular, That’s So Raven.
However, his work is not just Disney-related, as he got his first role on Blunt Talk back in 2015, where he played Eli. He’s also played a bratty son on Workaholics, starred as a young George in the critically acclaimed Hulu movie Becoming Bond, and played Fletcher Blake in Freaky Friday, a contemporary musical television movie from 2018.
He’s also had plenty of experience filming commercials, but he has just wrapped a television movie called Resident Alien, where he plays the role of Max.
Dancing With The Stars airs tonight at 8/7c on ABC.
