Joss Stone will be a member of the Empire cast during its next episode. The famous singer is going to play the character of Wynter.
The episode is called Treasons, Stratagems, and Spoils. As Fox has advertised, Jamal is going to become frustrated when Cookie tries to steal his artist. Also, Lucious will try to play nice with Jeff Kingsley to get TBD back on the map.
Wynter will enter the scene as Jamal’s top artist on his London label. She arrives in a huff, questioning why Jamal took off after making her a lot of promises. Can Jamal mend the fences? Will Cookie steal Wynter away for her own efforts?
Season 5 Episode 7 is an important one, especially as the mid-season finale draws closer.

Who plays Wynter on Empire?
Joss Stone is a well-known musician with six studio albums under her belt. This is why she is perfect as Wynter on the Empire cast.
Before this appearance, Stone served as a guest-star on the shows The Tudors and American Dreams. She also had a small role in the film Eragon.
From the sneak peeks of the new Empire episode, it looks like Joss Stone may have been the perfect choice to play Wynter. She definitely holds her own in the scenes she has with Jamal, who is played by Jussie Smollett. Can he keep her happy? Or will Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie steal Wynter away?
