Justin Harley has spilled when the identity of Kevin’s fiancée will be revealed on This Is Us, and fans won’t have to wait much longer.
Fans have been eager to find out the identity of the mystery woman, who is not only engaged to Kevin but is pregnant with his child. It was revealed in the Season 4 mid-season finale that Kevin’s dream of having a family by the time The Big 3 turned 40 came true.
However, in a classic Dan Fogelman move, the show creator has been making fans guess who Kevin’s fiancée is for months. The wait is just about over for fans.
When will fans learn the identity of Kevin’s fiancée?
The hunky actor chatted with US Weekly over the weekend at the SCAD aTVFest — when the subject of Kevin’s baby mama came up. It is a question on every This Is Us viewer’s mind these days.
“We’re almost there. We’re a couple of weeks away. You’ll find out!” Justin expressed.
Now, he didn’t share the specific episode that fans will learn the name of the mystery women. There are only three episodes left in Season 4, though, which means it will happen soon. A good guess would be that Fogelman is saving the juicy bit of information for the finale.
The show likes to answer a lot of fan questions at the end of the season while leaving viewers with new questions over the hiatus.
Kevin’s possible baby mamas
The list of possible women who become engaged to Kevin is only a handful. Kevin may have been a womanizer back in the day, but after getting sober, he has changed his ways.
Madison (Caitlin Thompson) is on the list because of her recent tryst with Kevin. It seems unlikely, though, that she is his fiancée. They both know their hookup was a one-time deal. Plus, she is Kate’s (Chrissy Metz) best friend. Based on Madison groveling for Kate to forgive her for sleeping with Kevin, it doesn’t seem like Madison would risk losing her bestie for a romance with Kevin.
Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge) is the woman many fans want to be Kevin’s fiancée. They have such a deep connection — similar to Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore). She is the only woman Kevin has truly loved. Granted, Sophie has a fiancé, so she would need to ditch him first.
The three other contenders are Lizzy (Sophia Bush), Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison), and Zoe (Melanie Liburd) — but all three of them are far-fetched. Lizzy was married, Cassidy got her family back, and Zoe didn’t want kids.
Last but not least, there is the possibility fans have not yet met Kevin’s fiancée. It could be a brand new character, which would mean Kevin moves fast. Being engaged and a father-to-be in fewer than nine months with a new woman could happen. After all, Kevin never said how far along his pregnant fiancée was in the flashforward.
Kevin’s fiancée will be revealed before the end of Season 4, which is over in a few weeks.
