Love After Lockup has picked up a head of steam during Season 2. The couples this time around have garnered loads of attention. With the popularity growing, viewers are wondering if a third season may be in the works.
It has been a little over seven months since filming for Season 2 began and many of the stars of Love After Lockup are watching their lives play out before them. Several are on social media responding to criticism and support as the show airs every week.
The casting call
On Instagram, Love After Lockup posted a casting call again. It is the same premise for Season 1 and Season 2, which means there is hope for a third season. The timing for both seasons appears to be similar. If that is the case, filming for a new season should begin around May or June.
Now that the show has aired two seasons, there may be more people willing to come forward. Also, since Love After Lockup has explained where some of these couples met and how, several more people may be inclined to try it with the goal of exposure on reality television.
Season 2 couples
Two of the couples on Season 2 of Love After Lockup were previously featured on Season 1. Both releases for the inmates were delayed and neither were free in time to film before it was over. Now, Scott and Lizzie’s story is playing out with plenty of drama and Angela and Tony have yet to be seen.
Some of the other couples are currently experiencing issues as well. Could any of these Love After Lockup stars return for an update during a third season?
There has been no official confirmation for Season 3 of Love After Lockup but all signs point to it happening soon.
