Luis Ortiz is back on Million Dollar Listing New York and he came back with more than just passion to get back into real estate. During Thursday’s episode of the show, Luis dropped a bombshell – he’s having a baby.
“I am having a kid,” Luis revealed during one of the final interviews of the episode, to which a female producer asked him, “You’re what?”
“Yeah, seriously. I’m having a kid,” he said. “I’m having a baby girl.”
The episode wrapped up with a “to be continued.” Leading up to his big reveal, Luis talked about how he needs to work on himself before starting a family. He then broke down, saying he hit a nerve, hoping that he doesn’t have to fix a broken person before having a family, as he was having a baby.
Luis Ortiz has said nothing about who he is dating or who the mother could be. This is the first time that fans hear anything about him possibly dating someone after returning to New York City.
Luis has previously revealed that he broke things off with his “very first” love, a woman named Nikita. Little is known about her, but he has talked about her in his confessional interviews on Million Dollar Listing New York and during conversations with his co-stars, Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund.
“She was so beautiful and so different from every other girl,” Luis revealed on the show about the breakup. “So I became very much in love with this woman. When we broke up, it broke my heart a lot. Because not only did I lose the person I was in love with, I also lost my best friend. I loved this girl so much, I started blaming myself.”
And don’t go digging on his social media accounts in hopes of finding an answer. As it turns out, Luis seems to have removed himself completely when it comes to sharing his life.
What’s interesting is that Luis kept his Instagram account open but deleted all of his previous photos from his travels and his life as a real estate agent years ago. He now has over 500,000 followers but hasn’t posted a single photo from his new life.
Ortiz is the latest agent to have a child. Earlier this summer, Steve Gold became a father to a daughter, Rose. Ryan Serhant also had a baby in February of this year, a girl named Zena. Fredrik Eklund was the first to have children, welcoming twins Milla and Freddy Jr. in late 2017.
